Danyl Johnson happy to be another Diana Vickers

Despite the bitter disappointment that finishing fourth on the X Factor brings, drama teacher Danyl Johnson is keeping his chin up.
The Reading 27 year-old missed out on the final of the competition by just 7 days, with Olly Murs, Joe McElderry and Stacey Solomon beating him in the public vote.
But when asked how he felt about being denied a place in one of the most hyped reality show finals in recent times, Danyl referenced another former X Factor fourth placer.
"Everyone wants to sing with a celebrity in the final,” he told Digital Spy. “But do you know what - I haven't actually heard any rumours. I have no idea who is doing the duets and they wouldn't tell me.
“It is just gutting that I won't be there. But I came fourth out of the top 12 and that's the same position as Diana Vickers came last year - look at her, she's doing really well."
Vickers wowed the West End crowds and critics in October with a starring role in Little Voice, playing a timid teenager with a drunk widowed mum.
So maybe the West End stage could come calling for Danyl too? We think it’s more suited to Joe, especially if Olly beats him tonight!
