Lloyd Daniels is moving to London
Tuesday, 27th October 2009.
A few months ago, cutesy X Factor hopeful Lloyd Daniels was planning to go to college, but he’s thrown that idea right out of the window.
The 16 year-old is abandoning plans to study architecture or accountancy in his quest to become a huge pop star.
And the Welshman wants to move to the Big Smoke to give him the best chance of succeeding in a really competitive industry.
He told the South Wales Echo: “Obviously Wales will always be my home, but after the show I want to move to London to give myself the best shot at succeeding in music.”
“I know a life in showbusiness will be tough, but I think I’ll take it in my stride and deal with it one step at a time.
“As for my age, I don’t think it matters in this industry - it’s all about your voice.
“This whole experience has matured me a lot anyway so I don’t feel like a normal 16-year-old. I feel so grown up.”
The teenager has received less than positive comments from the X Factor judges over the past three weeks but he is buoyed by the messages he gets from friends, family and fans in South Wales
“I’d just love to say keep it up guys, you’re doing an amazing job and I can’t thank you enough,” he added. “Keep supporting me.”
