Stacey Solomon's X Factor toilet troubles
Tuesday, 27th October 2009.
X Factor hopeful Stacey Solomon has revealed how she always feels desperate for the toilet just minutes before singing live.
The dippy Dagenham doll says the pressure of the live shows each Saturday night plays havoc with her bowels.
"I just get a bellyache and I want to poo," she told new! Magazine. "Before I go on, I’m like, 'Oh no, that’s it. I want a poo!'
"But you can’t do anything and you hold it in and then you walk on and you’re like, 'Ah, phew!' and the poo feeling goes and it’s fun."
And she says the Sunday night results show is even worse: Oh my gosh, waiting for your name is the worst. When it’s not yours, you’re like, 'Oh no, it’s not me'.
"Then it gets closer and you think, 'I’m going to be in the bottom two.' And that’s the scariest thing. You’re like, 'I don’t want to sing for survival'."
Firm favourite
Stacey has sailed through the last three public votes and is proving a fan favourite due to her down-to-earth personality.
But the 20-year-old livewire that we see on screen each weekend turns into a different person when she's back at the X Factor house.
"I’m like the granny,” she adds."I go to bed at nine. Everyone’s like, 'Where’s Stacey?' And I’m like [makes snoring noise]. I’m just one of those grans that go to bed early.
"I’m really hyper during the day, then I hit a wall and I’m like, 'Goodnight everyone'."
Stacey is currently busy preparing for X Factor's Rock Week and is competing with just eight other acts in the race to become the 2009 X Factor champ.
