X Factor to help Michael Buble conquer Europe
Monday, 19th October 2009.
Canadian singing sensation Michael Buble will be on a high when he appears on the X Factor this weekend as his new album has just topped the US chart.
The crooner's new album 'Crazy Love' jumped right into the No.1 slot on Billboard's Top 200 Pop Album chart this weekend, knocking Barbra Streisand's "Love Is The Answer" off the top.
And in selling 131,541 copies in its first week, the record became the 34 year-old star's second album in a row to top the US charts following his smash hit "Call Me Irresponsible" in 2007.
The CD was released in the UK and Europe today - just in time for Bublé's hotly anticipated appearance on The X Factor.
It will be the popular singer's second time appearing on the show after mentoring 2007's wannabes.
"I remember last time having such a laugh hanging out with Rhydian and Leon and the rest of the crew, all hugely talented and great fun to be with," he said.
"It's great to be back in the UK again and on THE biggest TV show there is," he added.
Of course it's the biggest show there is Michael... just cross your fingers that next Sunday's show draws in as many people as Whitney Houston did last Sunday.
And expect plenty of album plugging this weekend viewers!
