Cheryl Cole on course to sweep X Factor boards

If last week's first live X Factor show was anything to go by, Cheryl Cole's three acts Laura White, Diana Vickers and Alexandra Burke look destined to make the grand final in December.
Their flawless performances didn't go unnoticed by the bookmakers either, with Sky Bet moving quickly to slap odds of 4/1 on the girls' mentor Cheryl Cole steering them to reach the final 3.
The bookmaker has also installed 23 year-old Bolton babe Laura White as the 2/1 favourite to sing her way to the biggest prize in pop.
Helen Jacob, Sky Bet’s Head of PR, said: "This year punters have shown unbelievable support for the X-Factor girls.
"Not only is Cheryl favourite mentor but her acts together lead the contestants’ hopes of winning the title.

And following the departure of Bad Lashes in the last live show, it's not looking good for the girls who narrowly survived the boot.
Girlband are the 2/1 favourites to be packing their bags.
And if this is the case, groups mentor Louis Walsh will only be left with London guy-group JLS.
In fact, Sky Bet is offering odds of 1/5 for Louis to have no act in the grand final at all.
