Diana Vickers - X Factor 2008

Diana Vickers is a 17 year-old student from Lancashire who is desperate for the opportunity to shine before she has to settle down and study.
Diana has been singing since the age of 11 and although she’s had singing lessons and has competed in singing contests she has never sung professionally.
Fame doesn’t bother Diana, she is just keen to get on with singing and is looking forward to performing in front of a live audience.
She feels if she doesn’t go for her dreams now, her studies will take over and she may miss out on her opportunity to make it.
Diana is currently studying Theatre Studies, Classics, and Psychology and her plan if the singing doesn't go to plan is to go to Drama School to study Musical Theatre.
But that's definitely a plan B Diana doesn't want to have to take.
She believes she has a quirky, different voice that she’s hoping the judges and viewers will appreciate.
