Scott Bruton - X Factor 2008

Scott Bruton, is a 19 year-old from Manchester who jacked in his job as a Bluecoat to live the X Factor dream.
Scott was born in Manchester and still lives with his parents, two brothers and his sister.
His first passion was for acting but Scott soon switched to music when he sang karaoke for the first time aged 11.
Obsessed with singing in front of an audience, Scott became a karaoke expert - winning an array of talent shows and singing competitions at school.
Aged just 14 he began performing on the pub and club circuit and landed a place in drama college to study what he loved doing.
But times were tough and Scott was forced to drop out due to lack of funds.
However it wasn't long until he landed a job at Pontin's in January this year and began working as a Bluecoat.
Confidence in his own ability
And even though he enjoyed it, Scott showed how confident he is in his own ability by leaving his Pontin's job when he got to the Bootcamp stage of The X Factor.
This paid dividends when Simon Cowell chose Scott to be in the live finals in the run up to Christmas.
Scott’s friends and family are behind him all the way and his local pub is covered in banners showing support for his dream.
