Dannii tips Cheryl to shake things up

X factor judge Dannii Minogue predicts that show newcomer Cheryl Cole will be a fantastic influence on the show.
Any initial fears that the duo would be at war look dead in the water after the Aussie babe sang
the Girls aloud star’s praises in an interview to Cosmopolitan magazine.
Danni said: “I think Cheryl is great.
“She’s very knowledgeable about music and I think she’s going to bring a new side to the show.
“On the third day of auditions, I remember she was talking about urban music and telling Simon, ‘This is what the show needs; this is where you’ve been going wrong.’ “
“She has a go at Simon every minute, which he loves.”
It was announced that Cheryl would be stepping into former judge Sharon Osbourne’s shoes on the talent show after a much publicised row between Ozzy’s wife and Minogue.
Quick to deny
And Dannii has been quick to deny rumours of another rift between herself and the newcomer, saying that she’s just pleased Sharon has gone.
She added that she’s tried to make Cheryl feel welcome: “I had such a hard time being the new girl last year and I didn’t want her to suffer the same.
“Sharon and I just didn’t click. She made constant comments about me, saying I was just there because of my looks.
“It was upsetting because I’ve watched and loved all her stuff … and always picked her out as a real woman’s woman.
“But I didn’t have that experience with her.
“It’s hard to admire someone and then have your illusions shattered.”
