Simon Webbe is the second member of former boyband Blue to give the jungle a try after Antony Costa's attempt in 2005.
But Simon will be hard pushed to do any better than Costa's 6th placed finish, as he freely admits the outdoors is not something he's a fan of.
The 30 year-old says: "I’m afraid of everything and I’m not ashamed to say it. I don’t like heights and I don’t swim. So I don’t know why I’m going to the jungle."
Simon has a girlfriend waiting for him when he exits the jungle and is terrified that his friendliness to other female campers may be seen as flirting.
"I never think I’m a big flirt,” he says. "But people say, ‘You are, Si, you are’. I don’t want to be flirting – it’s not fair on my girlfriend."
Simon’s other big fear is getting kidnapped by a gorilla.
He says: "I think I’ll be sleeping with one eye open. You’ve seen those movies - you don’t mess with things in the jungle."
Not really the dense Amazonian jungle though is it Si...?
