Terri Dwyer spills Hollyoaks love beans

Former Hollyoaks star Terri Dwyer has spoken of the real live love stories that go on behind the scenes of the sexy soap.
The 36 year-old actress - who played Ruth Osborne in the Chester-based show from 1995-2001 - says that many of the on-screen romps occurred in real life too.
But she insists that relationships only developed once the stars of the soap had left their roles.
“When I was in the show we worked hard, but we played even harder," she said.
“I don’t remember any relationships between cast members.
“But there was a point further down the line when there were relationships off screen."
Happy days
Dwyer looks back on her time on the Channel 4 hit with much fondness.
“It was great at that age to have that kind of job and very exciting, as we were doing something different and didn’t know if the programme would get recommissioned," she said.
“We got a lot of stick at the start because Phil Redmond wanted to do something like Beverley Hills 90210.
“There was bad press along the lines of ‘pretty girls can’t act’ but we made it work.”
Possible soap return
The actress - who has just finished a stint presenting ITV’s 60 Minute Makeover - also revealed that a Holloaks return for her character may be a possibility
“The nature of my work is that you go into jobs as and when they come up," she said.
"If Hollyoaks came to me with a great script I would definitely go back.
“I made some really good friends at Hollyoaks, some I still see.
"I went to Jeremy Edwards’ wedding last year and still see one or two others.”
Terri still lives in Chester too, so a return to the soap wouldn't be that difficult!
