Samantha Janus put through the EastEnders wringer

Samantha Janus reckons her EastEnders character has been 'put through the wringer' in the show's recent storylines.
The 35-year-old actress - who plays Ronnie Mitchell in the soap - was left emotional after filming the traumatic scenes.
The scenes will see Ronnie delve into her past, uncovering some secrets that viewers were previously unaware of.
Samantha said: "Summer will be a huge time for Ronnie. This week, we see her admit something from her past which she very rarely talks about.
"And as soon as she has let that out of the bag, it won't be long before we discover everything about her.
"We'll understand Ronnie much better by the end of this - why she is so controlling and why she has always stuck by Roxy.
"It has been a gruelling set of episodes to film - I feel as though I have been put through the wringer and back again.
"But it's great to show that ice queen Ronnie has got a heart after all.
"Albeit a heart which has been shattered into a million tiny pieces."
