Corrie comeback for Angela Griffin?

There may be a mega soap comback on the cards if former Weatherfield star Angela Griffin has her way.
The ex-Corrie actress has admitted that she is keen to return to the soap as hairdresser Fiona Middleton.
Griffin played the feisty Fiona from 1993 to 1998 but has never been asked to make a comeback to the long-running show.
Asked by Digital Spy if she would return for Coronation Street's 50th anniversary next year, she confirmed: "Oh, I'd love to. Yeah, I've never been invited back."
Talking about Fiona's current lifestyle, she added: "Well she's got an 11-year-old child now, so I think she's probably married and got another hairdressing business somewhere else."
Since making her departure from the soap Griffin has starred in BBC dramas Cutting It and Down To Earth.
Her most recent stint was in teaching drama Waterloo Road.
