Kevin Kennedy proud to play Curly

Former Coronation Street star Kevin Kennedy has declared his pride in playing lovable Curly Watts on the soap for so many years.
Kevin appeared in the soap for 20 years before giving it up to take on new projects and launch a pop/rock career.
But he insisted that he has never felt embarrassed or wanted to forget his time playing Curly.
He said: "I never want to deny it or get away from it, I enjoy it.
"That sort of thing never leaves you and I'm very proud.
"If I didn't have that kind of back catalogue then I wouldn't be where I am now."
Kevin will shortly be using his musical talents when he appears in comedy musical The eXtra-Factor.
But he hinted that he hasn't closed the door on a Weatherfield return: "I never say never," he said.
"I still chat to the producers about other things and that's still a possibility.
"But we have to wait until the right time and the right story comes along."
