Violence in store as Corrie goes X-rated

The usually light-hearted Coronation Street is set to be rocked by some ugly scenes coming up in the coming weeks.
Police officers Abi Sharpe (Rachael Elizabeth) and Mel Morton (Emma Edmondson) are in the thick of the action when they are set upon by a gang of vicious thugs.
An source said: "This storyline is very ugly indeed and could clearly be very upsetting to watch."
The girls in blue encounter trouble when they attempt to break up a fight between four drunken girls.
Abi and Mel get kicked, punched and even bottled as they try to intervene on some yobbish behaviour.
The bottling leaves Abi with permanent damage to her eye, leaving her facing desk duty or having to turn to new career.
But Mel won't let it rest, telling brother Darryl: "I watched the scraggy bitch laugh as she stuck the boot in to Abi's face.
"And then laugh again when we had to release her.
"She won't be laughing when I'm finished with her."
