Samia Smith reckons kissing her on-screen husband Rob James-Collier makes her real-life relationship stronger.
The actress - who plays Maria Connor in the soap 'Coronation Street' - admits: "It's not real, is it? We're acting.
"I think it makes us a bit stronger actually, because I don't like kissing other men! I'd rather just kiss (her husband) Matt!"
Samia also revealed she became very broody while Maria was pregnant in the soap, and couldn't stop rubbing her prosthetic bump.
She added: "I was always rubbing my belly! Everyone kept noticing and said, 'God, you must be broody!'
"When you saw Maria have the scan it was a prosthetic bump that matched my skin tone, but all the way through, I was wearing this thing which was like this Mrs. Doubtfire bodysuit and it was awful - the most unsexy thing ever!"
Samia - who wants to have three children with Matt - believes her job is perfect for an actress who wants to have a family.
She said: "They are very good on the show about all that.
"In some ways, 'Coronation Street' is one of those jobs that is perfect for an actress who wants to have children because you don't have to give the work up, you can work around it."
