Celebrity Big Brother takes its final bow

Sunday evening sees the return of the final ever series of Celebrity Big Brother on Channel 4.
You’re in for one heck of a final fling of celebrity voyeurism as the select group of the notable and the notorious enter Britain's most famous TV house.
But this is no holiday camp for the pampered personalities; CBB 2010 won’t be leaving the limelight quietly.
The celebrity housemates may think they know what’s coming, but for them, 2010 will begin with some of the most unpredictable and unforgettable few weeks of their lives.
Commissioning Editor for Channel 4 David Williams said: “Celebrity Big Brother always brings some much-needed cheer and excitement to our screens on a cold January evening and this year will be no exception.
“Celebrities be afraid, be very afraid, as Celebrity Big Brother is going to go out with a very loud bang.”
Flourish or founder?
Will they flourish or flounder at the series of tasks and challenges Big Brother sets them during their stay in the house and, more importantly, how will they react to each other?
Will firm friendships blossom or will the experience spark some momentous showbiz spats? With Celebrity Big Brother nothing is ever certain.
Executive Producer Shirley Jones adds: “We’ve very carefully planned this series of Celebrity Big Brother, redesigning the house, developing exciting tasks and of course carefully selecting the mix of celebrity housemates.
“Their identities won’t be revealed until they face the crowed on launch night, live on TV, which is just such a brilliant moment.“
