Loud and chatty, the 28-year-old is single, gay and would love to work as a model for fashion designer Vivienne Westwood.
He's already strutted his funky stuff on television, scooping £4k on the quiz show Golden Balls.
But does he have the, ahem, balls to contend with the trials of everyday life in the BB House?
David has managed to overcome plenty of hardship in his own life, with his cheerful demeanour masking an inner sadness.
His biggest regret in his life is not being able to say goodbye to his mother, who died when he was 16.
Finding love has also proved turbulent, and he swears that he'll never allow himself to fall in love again.
He earns his money working in a factory sorting rags to send overseas for charity, plus he has a sideline selling goods on eBay.
But can David make a winning bid on Big Brother this year?
