Cairon loses out to Big Brother's Halfwit
Friday, 19th June 2009.
Cairon Austin-Hill is the latest Big Brother 10 evictee after losing to hot show favourite Freddie (Halfwit) in the public vote.
The 18 year-old American became the second housemate in as many weeks to be defeated by Halfwit in the race for public appreciation.
And he bacame the fourth person overall to leave the show, following Beinazir, Saffia and Sophia out of the house.
After Davina announced the result, Cairon shut his eyes and was hugged by tearful best friend Siavash as the rest of the housemates gathered around to hug him.
He received 73.16% of the public vote and was duly booed by almost three-quarters of the Big Brother live audience as he left the famous compound.
He told Davina and this week's guests, Vanessa Feltz and Iain Lee: "Being in the house and actually watching it are two different things.
"It was a win-win situation. I win if I stay longer in the house and in the public eye, and I win if I leave because I'm back to my friends and family.
"I wasn't shocked when I was nominated, it was funny. It's like when I was nominated, everyone else was more shocked than I was.
"Things go how they go, if I was meant to stay in I was meant to stay in but I was meant to leave so I'm here."
On his argument with Sree, Cairon added: "I felt like Siavash is me and I am Siavash, and [Sree] was saying the way Siavash talked to woman was unacceptable, but we didn't jump the boundaries.
"Sree is the biggest H word - he's a hypocrite. He says all this stuff about respect but he says shut it all the time."
Only time will tell if Sree is really a hypocrite. But until that time, we bid you farewell Cairon.
